WEAVE A SIMPLE SUMMER GARMENT
In this mixed level, 6 session class, new weavers will experience the complete loom weaving process from measuring a warp, dressing the loom, weaving a simple summer scarf using basic threading and treadling patterns, through finishing techniques. More experienced weavers will learn how to design, plan, warp and weave a simple loom shaped tunic, top or other summer garment using suitable summer weight yarns such as cotton or linens.
Materials not included. Suitable materials will be discussed at the first class and are available for purchase at The Weaving School. Looms provided. Ages 16+ are welcome.
